Every month the group will read a play that has either already won or was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and discuss what makes that play special. What techniques did the writer use? Topically, is the play socially relevant? After discussing the play, the group leader will assign a prompt based on techniques in the play. The short scenes from the prompts will be read at the following meeting.
The selection for December 12th is Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar.
Beginning in January, the workshop will meet the third Thursdays at 6pm.
