HOWL happens every third Sunday at 6:30 pm. at Nightbird Books. Please arrive early to chat and sign up to read! The bookstore opens at 6pm.
At HOWL, women are invited to read poems (their own or another woman writer’s), share short stories or prose, comedy, or sing/play at an open mic forum hosted by Pamela Hill. All are invited to attend as listeners. Come read, sing or play your work to a really receptive audience. It’s a great place to “try out” new work, share your masterpieces, or read for the very first time.
***READERS: Please aim for a MAX of three pages of poetry, three double-spaced selected pages of prose or one song. Longer readings must be requested/arranged with the host during the month before the next HOWL so that we can announce the guest reader and what you will be reading to the email list.
