Join us to meet and hear from Randolph Thomas when he joins us on April 25th with his short story collection, Dispensations and his poetry collection The Deepest Rooms.
Randolph Thomas, a graduate of the UofA MFA in Creative Writing Program, is the author of two prize-winning books: Dispensations, a short story collection and winner of the MVP Award, from New Rivers Press; and The Deepest Rooms, a collection of poetry and winner of the Gerald Cable Award, forthcoming from Silverfish Review Press in spring 2015.
Dispensations pitches teens and adults with drug and alcohol problems against aging and ill-prepared parents. Thomas' characters test the boundaries of family responsibility. Blind to each others needs and feelings, they are haunted by visions of what their lives might have
been and might still be.
